YOUR NEW ROLE
As Creative Director, the successful candidate will lead a team of creatives to bring excellence to all Sydney Opera House campaigns and marketing content.
The Creative Director will develop and champion bold and courageous ideas that inspire the community and bring the Sydney Opera House brand to life.
Equally, they will conceive and oversee engaging creative communications that deliver tangible business results.The Creative Director's team will specialise in design, motion, digital content, copy and production; and you will be responsible for driving their culture, their development and creative output.
As a member of the marketing leadership group, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping audience engagement strategies and the future direction of the Sydney Opera House brand.
ARE YOU THE ONE?
We are looking for someone with:
A minimum of 10 years agency/commercial experience as a senior creative leader, working on global brands.
Strong portfolio showcasing breadth of work, conceptual thinking and strategic understanding.
Strong team management capabilities, with proven record of leading high-performing, multi-disciplinary creative teams.
Proven success delivering inspiring projects in a timely manner within a fast-paced environment.
Strong business acumen and exceptional relationship management and communication skills.
High levels of creative excellence, fully proficient in design software applications Adobe, InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop with an excellent understanding of the print production process and a keen interest and knowledge in cutting edge digital tools and technologies.
Experience working with project management/workflow management tools.
A broad range of industry contacts and knowledge of the performing arts/tourism business environment.
