We are proud to be representing a respected, Victorian-based design and manufacturing business specialising in the delivery of bespoke water and wastewater treatment solutions. Servicing clients across municipal, industrial, mining, agricultural and infrastructure sectors - this is a business that engineers and locally manufactures its own systems, then takes them all the way through to installation, commissioning and handover.
A strong project pipeline and a lean, capable team means there is no red tape between you and the work. You'll have genuine ownership of projects and real visibility of the outcomes you deliver.
This is a long-term ongoing casual contract role with a genuine view to permanency for the right candidate.
An established and self-driven Project Manager is sought to lead water and wastewater treatment projects end-to-end - from scope and design through procurement, installation, commissioning and client handover. You'll manage budgets, schedules and stakeholder relationships while staying technically across drawings, P&IDs and documentation, and getting hands-on in the field when it counts.
We are also open to experienced Project Engineers ready to make the step up - if you've been delivering from the ground up and are ready to own the full project, we want to hear from you.
To be considered, you must possess:
· 2–8 years' experience delivering projects within water, wastewater, process or manufacturing environments
· Proven end-to-end delivery across design, procurement, installation and commissioning
· Technical fluency - confident reading and interpreting drawings, schematics and P&IDs
· Strong stakeholder management across clients, contractors, vendors and internal teams
· A hands-on, low-ego approach - you back yourself, take ownership and get things across the line
Experience with packaged treatment systems, pump stations, chemical dosing, aeration or similar process equipment will be a clear advantage
What's on Offer:
· Long-term ongoing casual engagement - $80 to $90 per hour + Super, based on experience
· A genuine pathway to permanent appointment for the right person
· Real end-to-end project ownership in a lean team
· Diverse project exposure across municipal, industrial, mining and infrastructure sectors
· Collaborative, low-bureaucracy culture where your input is heard and your results are recognised
· Geelong-based role
This role will move quickly and only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
