An exciting opportunity has become available for a Plumbing Estimator / Project Coordinator to join our Warana branch on the Sunshine Coast. This is a full-time position, ideal for a cadet, recent graduate, or someone with estimating and/or project coordination experience who is looking to build a long-term career.
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual who is well organised and eager to contribute to a high-performing team.
Key requirements:
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Solid numerical and analytical ability
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Self-motivated with the ability to prioritise workload
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel (PowerPoint desirable but not essential)
* Experience with plumbing "front of wall" products (toilets, basins, taps, etc.) is advantageous but not essential
* Understanding of building construction is highly regarded
Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
* Reviewing and assessing Request for Tender (RFT) documentation
* Completing quantity take-offs from plans and specifications
* Liaising with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal stakeholders
* Preparing tender costings and supplier quotations
* Compiling tender submissions, including quotations, product proposals, and technical documentation
