Black & Krantz is a forward-thinking accounting and financial planning practice based in South Melbourne.

We are looking for an enthusiastic administrative assistant/client services officer with experience in Financial Planning.

This is not a stepping-stone role - it is suited to someone who thrives on supporting the financial planning process and is committed to provided excellent client service and administrative support.

To be successful you need to have the following:

MINIMUM 2 year's experience as an administrative assistant in a Financial Planning environment/industry, essential.
Strong working knowledge of XPLAN (essential)
Experience with investment platforms such as BT Panorama, Praemium and cash products such as Macquarie CMA, essential.
Proficient with Microsoft 365 suite, in particular Word, Excel and Outlook.
Understanding of superannuation, investment and insurance products.
Experience working within an accounting practice and SMSF knowledge highly regarded.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Confidence working directly with clients and adviser
Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work independently.
Timesheet management experience (preferred).
Strong attention to detail is essential.
Willingness to stay up-to date with industry regulations
Must be permanent Australian resident

Your key responsibilities will include:

Assist and support Adviser and existing Administration staff in daily administration duties.
Ensuring client files are compliant, accurate and up to date
Attending client meetings with adviser to assist with administrative and compliance requirements where required
Liaising with clients and external service providers including superannuation funds, insurers and investment platforms and conducting detailed research on clients existing financial positions.
Xplan data entry and practice management functions.
Prepare documentation and client meeting packs.
Manage client correspondence, follow-ups and outstanding documentation
Maintain accurate client records and files (physical and electronic) and undertake general administrative tasks (scanning, filing, copying, binding, mailing)
General office and administrative support
Other relevant administrative duties as required

This is a Part-time role with flexible working hours. Days per week to be agreed with successful candidate.
