Business Development Manager – Drilling & Heavy Equipment Solutions
Location: Queensland, Australia - managing Australia, New Zealand & SE Asia
We are a global leader in foundation drilling equipment, known for delivering innovative, high-performance rigs and tooling to contractors across the construction, energy, and infrastructure sectors. Their products are trusted by customers worldwide for their reliability, versatility, and support.
We're seeking a driven Business Development Manager to expand their footprint across their Australia, New Zealand & SE Asia territories. This is a high-impact role with the opportunity to work directly with decision-makers in the piling, drilling, and heavy civil industries.
Responsibilities
* Drive new equipment sales and rental agreements with foundation drilling contractors, general contractors, and rental partners.
* Build and maintain relationships with key industry players, from estimators to executives.
* Identify new market opportunities and develop tailored sales strategies to meet revenue targets.
* Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation and technical consultation to deal closure.
* Coordinate with engineering and service teams to deliver custom drilling solutions.
* Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and client demonstrations.
Qualifications & Experience
* Proven track record in business development, sales, or account management (heavy equipment, drilling, piling, or related industries is a plus)
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Ability to travel regularly for client meetings, site visits, and industry events.
* Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working with minimal supervision.
