Role Purpose We are looking for a Business Development Manager to help us test and grow the Sydney market for AI and Tech recruitment. This role is suitable for someone with 3 to 8 years of solution selling experience who can open conversations with founders, CTOs, technology leaders, HR leaders, and business owners. The role is not just about selling recruitment. It is about understanding client hiring problems and positioning Celotti Tech Talent as a long-term talent partner. Key Responsibilities Build new client relationships across AI, data, software, SaaS, cloud, cybersecurity, digital, and emerging technology sectors. Speak with founders, CTOs, Heads of Engineering, Heads of Data, HR leaders, and Talent Acquisition leaders. Introduce Celotti Tech Talent’s fixed-fee recruitment model to potential clients. Understand client challenges around talent shortage, hiring cost, speed, quality, and retention. Identify companies that need long-term hiring support, not just one-off recruitment help. Build and manage a client pipeline through LinkedIn, calls, referrals, networking, events, and market research. Qualify client requirements and work closely with the recruitment delivery team. Track all client activity, meetings, follow-ups, and pipeline progress in the CRM. Share market feedback on Sydney’s AI and Tech hiring demand. Ideal Candidate 3 to 8 years of experience in solution selling, business development, recruitment sales, staffing, SaaS, HR tech, or professional services. Experience selling to technology companies, startups, scaleups, enterprise clients, or professional services clients would be valuable. Strong interest in AI, data, software, cloud, cybersecurity, and digital hiring. Comfortable speaking with senior decision-makers. Good at asking questions, understanding problems, and proposing solutions. Strong relationship-building and follow-up discipline. Comfortable working in a growing business where the market is still being developed. Understands the value of long-term client partnerships.
