JMC Property Group is an experienced construction company with a long history in Tasmania. Undertaking projects ranging from facility maintenance to major developments such as hotels and automotive dealerships, JMC Property Group supports the ongoing building needs ofaffiliated companies and has committed to secure fully-funded contracts for the foreseeable future.
Due to a recent expansion in the greater Northwest region, we are seeking to appoint an apprentice to undertake a range of commercial and residential projects. We are also happy to consider current 2nd and 3rd year apprentices looking to gain a broader range of experience. JMC is willing to consider mature age candidates with similar industry experience, who wish to formalise their trade.
With over 30 employees and decades of industry experience, JMC Property Group provides stable ongoing employment in the construction sector. About you
We are looking for enthusiastic, professional, reliable and self-motivated and experienced team players ready for project work in the Devonport to Burnie area. You will need strong attention to detail and the dedication to see projects through to completion.
You can also demonstrate that you have:
Relevant qualifications and current licences including a white card
Demonstrated experience in and extensive knowledge of the building industry
A strong work ethic
A broad range of trade skills and a hands-on approach
Strong communication skills and the ability to work with a diverse team
A confident and positive attitude
An ability to problem solve and take initiative on site
Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Commitment to Workplace Health & Safety principles and practices.
