Delivering a high-profile tunnelling project requires a skilled and experienced Mechanical Project Engineer to oversee the management of plants, equipment, and resources.
Key Responsibilities:
* Establish and manage plants, equipment, and resources according to project requirements and industry standards.
* Oversee project plants, including EPB TBM, spoil conveyor, MSV, ventilation, backfill grout plant, water treatment, power/water supply, material handling, cross passage excavation plants, and related equipment.
* Coordinate daily plant maintenance with the Tunnel Plant Manager and Plant Manager.
* Monitor spare parts availability based on project priorities.
* Work with the TBM Mechanical Superintendent to ensure safe and efficient inspections and maintenance, keeping reports updated.
* Collaborate with Safety, Quality, and Environmental teams to meet compliance standards.
* Foster effective stakeholder relationships at all levels.
* Ensure clarity of responsibilities and monitor performance.
