About the Opportunity
Our client is seeking an accomplished Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of a major 12-month scheme in Southampton. The project combines major refurbishment, multi‑rise residential fit‑out, multi‑rise demolition and remediation, and full residential refurbishment. This position is ideal for a leader with a track record of managing complex, multi‑stage residential or high‑rise schemes and driving successful project outcomes.

Our client is a specialist principal contractor and designer known for delivering high‑quality external wall and façade packages across the UK.

Role Responsibilities
* Lead the project from pre‑construction through delivery and handover
* Manage programme, cost, safety, and quality controls
* Manage subcontractors, consultants, and supply‑chain performance
* Maintain strong client communication and stakeholder management
* Ensure project milestones, budgets, and compliance targets are achieved
* Oversee risk management, reporting, and project planning activities
Requirements
* Strong background in multi‑rise residential or refurbishment projects
* Experience overseeing demolition, remediation, and complex phased works
* Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills
* Available for a long‑term contract in Southampton
* Open to freelance or PAYE engagement
