Job Title: Foundry Operative Role
We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused individual to join our team as a Foundry Operative. This is a manual labour role that requires working in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks, and ensuring the highest level of quality and productivity.
Main Responsibilities
* Ensure all work is conducted in a safe, timely, and efficient manner while maintaining company values.
* Plan the best approach to daily output and ensure all work is in accordance with work instructions.
* Manufacture moulds, secure them for pouring, and clear the pouring floor in a timely manner.
* Pour moulds at the correct temperature and knock out sand moulds safely and productively.
* Ensure castings are delivered to the fettling shop as requested by supervisors and meet customer delivery dates.
* Check castings for defects, quarantine when necessary, and use hand tools and power tools for handheld operations.
* Maintain equipment in good condition, report any issues to supervisors, and contribute to process improvements.
* Treat plant and equipment with care and project maintenance support as required.

* Forklift Licence (desirable)
