About the Opportunity
* To provide comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments and interventions tailored to each individual's unique needs.
* Closely collaborate with families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized treatment plans that promote effective communication, swallowing, and overall quality of life.
* Utilize expertise in augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices and strategies to facilitate meaningful interactions and increase independence.
* Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing valuable insights and recommendations for holistic client care.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited institution.
* Current registration as a speech therapist.
* Proven experience in providing occupational therapy services, preferably in a disability or community setting.
* A passion for making a positive difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities.
* Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills are essential.
