Geoff Gibson Homes is a locally owned, award-winning residential building company based in Toowoomba. Since 1990, we've built over 800 high-quality custom homes, specialising in energy-efficient, sustainable and thoughtfully designed residences. What We Do
We design and construct custom residential homes, working closely with clients from concept through to completion. Our builds focus on quality materials, smart design, environmentally responsible construction methods, and delivering an exceptional client experience.
The Role
We are currently seeking a Qualified Carpenter to join our growing team. This role will suit someone who takes pride in their work, willing to learn sustainable building practices, values quality over shortcuts, and enjoys being part of a professional and reliable team.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out all aspects of residential carpentry on custom home builds
* Read and interpret plans and specifications accurately
* Maintain high standards of workmanship and attention to detail
* Work collaboratively with site supervisors, trades, and suppliers
* Ensure all work complies with building codes, safety standards, and company procedures
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised worksite.
Qualifications & Experience
* Trade qualified Carpenter
* Experience in residential construction (preferred)
* White Card (mandatory)
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong work ethic, reliability, and pride in workmanship
* Own tools and reliable transport preferred
