Breast Cancer Network Australia
(BCNA) is Australia's leading breast cancer consumer organisation. They work tirelessly to ensure that all Australian's who are affected by breast cancer receive the very best care, treatment and support.
Since their inception in 1998, they have built a strong and resilient network of over 250,000 individuals who have received their support. Alongside this network, BCNA work with the broader cohort of health professionals, government, healthcare providers and partners to influence and create a stronger healthcare system.

As
Copywriter
, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the way BCNA's story is told - crafting content that informs, inspires, and drives action. Reporting to the Marketing and Communications Manager, you'll create compelling copy across digital and print channels - from website pages, eDMs, and social campaigns to fundraising appeals, impact stories, and advocacy communications.
You'll work closely with Fundraising, Policy and Advocacy, and Digital teams to ensure their words have real impact, whether that's raising awareness, increasing service uptake, or inspiring support. You'll also contribute to editorial planning, test and optimise content, and use insights to continuously refine how we connect with their audiences.
About YOU
You're a writer who knows how to make words work hard. You bring:
* Proven experience creating engaging copy for multiple channels (digital, print, social, campaigns)
* Ability to turn complex information into clear, human, compelling stories for diverse audiences and formats
* SEO and web-writing expertise
* An eye for detail and a strong grasp of brand voice, and storytelling
* The ability to juggle multiple projects and stakeholders with ease
* A proactive, creative mindset, and confidence to work with autonomy
* Strong collaboration skills and enjoyment working in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment
* Passion for storytelling that makes a genuine impact
* Curiosity, adaptability, and commitment to continuous learning
* Tertiary qualifications in communications, journalism, marketing or a related field
* Desirable
: Experience in health, community or not-for-profit sector
