The West Moreton Health service is seeking an experienced and dedicated Nurse Practitioner to provide advanced nursing leadership, clinical governance, case management, and complex care for patients within the Opioid Substitution Treatment (OST) program.
This challenging yet rewarding role requires a highly skilled professional who can demonstrate expertise in contemporary advanced practice, expert clinical skills, and leadership capability. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of addiction and substance abuse, with the ability to apply specialized knowledge and theory to deliver high-quality patient-focused care.
* Demonstrated Expertise:
* Contemporary advanced practice in addiction and substance abuse.
* Expert clinical skills in providing comprehensive care to patients with complex needs.
* Leadership capability to coordinate evidence-based care delivery, business management, and education provision.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide advanced nursing leadership and clinical governance for the OST program.
* Develop and maintain quality improvement processes to enhance patient outcomes.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated care.
* Educate and inform patients and families about their care and treatment options.
Requirements:
* Current registration with Ahpra as a Registered Nurse with Endorsement as a Nurse Practitioner.
* Vaccination against certain vaccine-preventable diseases.
* Ability to meet WMH credentialing requirements.
