We are seeking an Operations Manager to support the day-to-day running of the business. This is an onsite role suited to someone organised, proactive, and keen to grow their operational and leadership skills within a supportive team environment.
The Role
Reporting to the Managing Director, the Operations Manager will support core business operations across administration, people processes, governance, and sales support. This is a hands-on role that plays a key part in keeping the business running smoothly.
The position is part-time (three days per week), with flexibility around which days are worked.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Administration
* Support the day-to-day management of business operations
* Assist with payroll preparation and pay cycles (in coordination with external payroll/accounting)
* Maintain internal systems, records, and documentation
* Support job descriptions, onboarding processes, and basic HR administration
* Assist with governance documentation and compliance requirements
* Help coordinate internal workflows between service, sales, and administration teams
Sales & Tender Support
* Provide administrative support to the sales team, including follow-ups and client communication
* Assist with preparing tender submissions, quotes, and supporting documentation
* Track leads, opportunities, and outcomes in CRM or internal systems
* Support proposal preparation and presentation materials as required
Relationship Management
* Assist in maintaining strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and partners
* Support customer communications and follow-up
* Help coordinate meetings, site visits, and partner engagement
* Act as a professional point of contact for operational enquiries
General Operations Manager Duties
* Identify opportunities to improve systems and processes
* Support scheduling and coordination across teams
* Assist with reporting and basic financial tracking
* Help manage suppliers and service providers
* Support workplace organisation and operational planning
* Contribute to a positive, professional workplace culture
About You
This is an Operations Manager role, ideal for someone looking to build experience in business operations.
