Job Description
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Solution Designer / Technical Architect to lead end-to-end solution design across the ServiceNow platform. This role ensures architectural integrity, scalability, security, and alignment with enterprise business objectives. Integrations, CMDB, and platform governance are core components of the overall solution design responsibility.
The role acts as a trusted advisor to both business and technology stakeholders, supporting complex enterprise transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead end-to-end ServiceNow solution design aligned to business, enterprise architecture, and platform best practices.
* Design scalable and secure solutions across ITSM, ITOM (TSOM), CSM, GRC, SecOps.
* Own solution integrity across workflows, data models, integrations, and platform components.
Platform & Technical Leadership:
* Act as a technical authority for ServiceNow solution design and architectural decisions.
* Provide technical guidance to developers, solution designers, and implementation partners.
* Define and enforce design standards, patterns, and governance controls.
* Review and approve solution designs and implementation approaches.
Integration, CMDB & Security Design:
* Design and govern ServiceNow integration approaches as part of overall solution architecture.
* Own interface-level design including data flows, mappings, payloads, and transformation logic.
* Lead CMDB architecture, data modelling, normalization, and ITOM alignment.
* Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, and access control requirements.
Stakeholder Engagement & Governance:
* Partner with senior business, IT, and security stakeholders.
* Facilitate solution design workshops and architecture reviews.
* Support ServiceNow platform roadmap and strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
Required Skills & Experience:
Technical Skills:
* Deep hands‐on experience across ITSM, ITOM/TSOM, CSM, GRC, SecOps.
* Strong expertise in ServiceNow integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, IntegrationHub).
* Strong CMDB design, data modelling, and service mapping experience.
Leadership Skills:
* Ability to influence without direct authority.
* Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
* Experience working in agile and enterprise delivery environments.
Certifications:
* ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) – Mandatory or strongly preferred.
* ServiceNow Certified Implementer: ITSM, ITOM, CSM.
Nice to Have:
* Experience with enterprise architecture and IT governance frameworks.
* Exposure to regulated or security‐sensitive environments.
* Background in cloud platforms, DevOps, or enterprise integration patterns.
