Why You'll Love This Role

We are looking for a Venue Manager to lead BOUNCE Belconnen, the home of BOUNCE in the ACT. This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of a well‐established venue that plays an important role in inspiring movement, self‐expression and human connection for thousands of customers across Canberra and the surrounding region every year.

From elite athletes pushing their limits on our Ninja and adventure attractions to Mini BOUNCE sessions that introduce our youngest free spirits to the joy of movement, no two days are the same. You'll lead a venue that brings together people of all ages and abilities, creating experiences that build confidence, spark progression and leave lasting memories.

This is a significant leadership role where you'll lead a team of 50+ team members, including Hosts, Team Leaders and an Assistant Venue Manager. You'll create an environment where people thrive, safety is always front of mind, and every customer experiences the magic of BOUNCE.

Reporting to the Area Manager, you'll have genuine ownership of a high‐volume operation, with responsibility for driving commercial performance, developing future leaders, growing engagement across the team and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Flex Your Leadership and Commercial Muscle

This role gives you real experience across people, performance and operations. You will:

  • Own the performance of a multi‐million‐dollar venue
  • Lead, coach and inspire a large, energetic and passionate team
  • Develop Team Leaders and an Assistant Venue Manager into future Venue Managers
  • Drive sales performance and repeat visitation
  • Balance customer experience, safety, labour, revenue and engagement every day
  • Build a culture where energy, accountability and progression go hand in hand

What You'll Be Responsible For

As Venue Manager, you will play an integral role in the ongoing success of your venue. You will manage day‐to‐day operations, lead your team, and drive performance across key measures, including:

  • Achieving KPIs across sales, labour, safety, venue presentation, customer experience and staff engagement
  • Implementing strategies to improve performance and drive results
  • Leading sales growth and creating experiences that drive repeat visitation
  • Being a visible safety leader, overseeing initiatives and ensuring procedures are followed consistently
  • Coaching and developing your team and supervisors so growth is accessible to all
  • Reading, responding to, and acting on customer feedback to enhance the guest experience
  • Managing expenses and keeping all controllable and variable P&L line items within budget
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and high‐quality venue presentation
  • Supporting operational tasks including cash handling, customer service, food preparation and food safety compliance
  • You will be trained in world‐class customer service delivery and BOUNCE venue management systems to set you up for success and give you the tools to lead with confidence.
