About the Role
As a Casual Shop Assistant, you will work across different departments as required, including:
* Fruit & Vegetables
* Groceries
* Perishables/ Pre Pack Meat
* Online (Picking & Packing Orders)
* Customer Service
Your day-to-day duties may include:
* Providing friendly and helpful customer service on the shop floor
* Filling, rotating, and presenting stock to a high standard
* Assisting with online order picking and packing
* Maintaining clean, safe, and well‑organised work areas
* Following food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures
* Supporting the team during busy trading periods
About You
* Previous retail or supermarket experience is not essential
* A positive attitude and willingness to learn across multiple departments
* Reliable, flexible, and available to work across a 7-day roster, AM & PM shifts
* Strong teamwork and communication skills
