Electrical Construction Coordinator
for a major
underground
metalliferous
mining project
in the
Philippines.
This high-profile role involves coordinating underground HV electrical construction works, providing an excellent opportunity for qualified candidates with underground mining experience seeking an international assignment. You will work back-to-back on a critical dewatering project, supporting multiple contracting partners and ensuring safe and efficient delivery.
About the Opportunity
* Roster:
20 days on, 10 days off, plus 4 travel days (2 each side of the swing)
* 8 hours paid per travel day
* 12-hour shifts per day
* Flights provided from Australia
* Private accommodation with ensuite and full camp facilities (dry camp, gym, laundry)
* 12-month contract through TP Human Capital
* Visa arrangements managed by the client
* Project already underway – immediate start available
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Construction Superintendent, you will:
* Coordinate and oversee underground HV electrical construction activities
* Manage multiple contracting partners to meet schedule, quality, and safety requirements
* Ensure compliance with HV isolation, electrical standards, and site safety procedures
* Monitor progress, quality, and schedule of electrical installations
* Support project delivery while maintaining safety and operational compliance
* Initial project priorities include:
* Underground dewatering pump and HV electrical installations
* Coordination of HV switchgear and control systems
* Support for commissioning and operational handover
What We're Looking For
* Current Australian Electrical Licence – mandatory
* High Voltage (HV) switching / authorisation – mandatory
* Proven experience coordinating electrical construction in underground metalliferous mining projects
* Strong contractor and stakeholder management skills
* Commitment to safety, quality, and compliance
* Ability to work internationally (Philippines-based rotation)
* Current Australian passport
* Ability to meet pre-employment medical and background checks

* Experience in dewatering and underground HV infrastructure
* Strong leadership and team coordination skills
* Ability to drive project momentum on complex electrical scopes
