A clear pathway to becoming an Advisor
A proven track record of developing talented individuals into high-quality Advisors - this is not a back office or front office role, it's both.
We manage approximately $1.3bn in assets (Sydney office, for a relatively low number of clients) and we run our own portfolios.
Our intensive training and development programs cover investments, client engagement, asset protection (using entities not just insurance) and tax, as well as the soft skills needed to engage with a client on an advice basis without 'selling'.
We project manage and add value across all facets of our client's financial affairs.
Under our own license, you will work closely with our Directors and Senior Advisors, to provide sophisticated and tailored advice to our successful business owners, high level executives and ultra-high net worth families.
We develop wealth creation, tax minimisation, retirement, superannuation (incl. SMSF) and asset protection strategies that encompass far more than just money management and investment.
What you'll get involved with:
Attending and contributing to new and existing client meetings.
Equally involved in leading the client relationship as the Senior Advisor - this is not a back-office role.
Assisting with the preparation of high level and complex strategic SoA's
Researching and developing financial strategies across wealth accumulation, investment strategies, balance sheet re-structuring, debt management, estate planning, tax minimisation and asset protection.
Preparing ongoing strategic review documents
Implementing client recommendations, including establishing superannuation and investment funds, share portfolios and the rollover/redemption
Attending to general client queries
Maintenance and management of client portfolios.
We are looking for an individual who has:
A degree in Commerce, Economics, or similar discipline
4+ years' experience working in the industry within financial planning/advice, superannuation consulting environment, technical role or accounting is preferable
A desire to invest in themselves and take advantage of the considerable training/support provided to develop them into the best Advisor they can be.
Ideally come from a paraplanning or client services background
Exceptional client service focus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Good lateral thinking and problem-solving skills
Strong Word, Excel and analytical skills
