NEP Construction trading as Picker Apiaries is a commercial apiary based at Gooloogong in Central New South Wales.
We are seeking an experience Apiarist to join our team.
This is a full-time permanent position offering a salary of $77,000 p.a.
The position involves working away from home base as required during the season and involves all aspects of beekeeping, including:
* Hive management including monitoring and maintaining the health of the bees
* Queen rearing and replacement
* Harvesting and extracting honey
* Assisting with pollination services
* General hive and equipment maintenance
* Transportation of hives
The position involves heavy work and long hours as required.
The successful applicant must have a sound knowledge of beekeeping with a minimum 2-3 years skilled experience, plus a good work ethic and attention to detail.
