Endeavour Schools is a truly inclusive school setting where the primary school and education support centre work together for the benefit of all students where every child is special.Find out more about our school by visiting www.endeavourschools.wa.edu.au or Schools OnlineThe RoleEndeavour Education Support Centre is seeking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic Special Needs Education Assistant to join our dynamic and supportive team.As a Special Needs Education Assistant you should have the ability to work independently and use initiative to assist the teacher in maintaining order and assisting in the delivery and implementation of planned education programs. Some of the skills and attributes desired to be successful include experience dealing with complex behaviours, working with individuals or small groups of students and reporting student achievement and progress to the teacher, experience with trauma informed practice and mental health, along with a sound understanding of a range of disabilities.The successful applicant will ideally have the skills and desire to work collaboratively with all staff in supporting our students to achieve success.
