About the role
The Senior Grants Management Lead will manage grants program administration and provide specialist advice and stakeholder engagement, to ensure transparent and efficient delivery in line with established processes, policies, and standards, so that government investments achieve their intended outcomes.
A key aspect of the role is overseeing contracting and payment processes for successful grant recipients and ensuring the process is efficient and streamlined.
Some of the role accountabilities include –
* Manage all aspects of grants program administration, ensuring efficient operations, compliance with policies, effective stakeholder engagement and timely delivery of funding to support program objectives.
* Develop, manage and oversee the effective and efficient end-to-end administration of contracts for grant recipients, ensuring compliance and probity in grant assessment and fund usage and ensuring timely, accurate disbursement of grant funding.
* Manage and monitor the use of grant platforms and systems such as SmartyGrants, to support timely and accurate delivery of funding from application through to acquittal.
* Provide compliance reporting and monitor grant recipient performance, escalate risks, and contribute to risk mitigation strategies, to deliver compliant and improved outcomes.
* Provide specialist advice, information and guidance to stakeholders to improve efficiency and ensure alignment with grant governance processes.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Experience in overseeing contracting and payment processes.
* Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or demonstrated equivalent relevant professional experience.
* Experience in grants management and administration, including contracts administration.
* Knowledge and experience using grants management systems such as OneGMS, SmartyGrants or similar platforms to support efficient, compliant and transparent administration of grant programs.
* Knowledge and understanding of compliance, probity, and government standards related to grants distribution.
