We are seeking an experienced Yard Forklift Operator to join a busy manufacturing and distribution site in Toowoomba. This role is ideal for someone confident operating forklifts in an outdoor yard environment and comfortable handling long or oversized PVC products.
Shift: 7:00am–3:30pm (Monday to Friday)Pay Rate: $35.91 per hour
Key Duties
* Loading and unloading trucks using counterbalance forklifts
* Handling and organising PVC piping and plastic tubing products
* Moving stock around the yard and warehouse
* Staging the dock for inbound/outbound freight
* Strapping, securing and preparing pallets for dispatch
* General yard and warehouse upkeep as needed
Requirements
* Valid Forklift Licence (LF) – essential
* Proven forklift experience (yard or outdoor environment preferred)
* Ability to safely handle long/awkward loads
* Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work independently
