Position Summary
Based at our Brisbane South (Nathan) campus, this role is a 0.6 FTE (60%) Medical Receptionist (Student Services Officer).
As the first point of contact for clients, external agencies and employees who use our services, you will support a range of health and wellbeing activities and collaborate across multiple units.
Responsibilities
* Provide high‐level administrative support.
* Manage client bookings for Student Wellbeing & Accessibility services.
* Process billing and undertake financial reconciliation for the Health and Medical Service.
* Coordinate practitioner appointment books and triage clients appropriately.
* Perform cash and EFTPOS transaction management and reconciliation.
Open hours are from 8.30 am to 4.30 pm, requiring rostered start times of 7.45, 8.00 or 8.30 am between Monday and Friday, and availability to finish until 5.00 pm.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Demonstrated experience as a Medical Receptionist in a clinical or medical environment.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and a team‐player attitude.
* Ability to multitask and provide high‐level administrative support across the unit.
* Familiarity with practice management systems (Genie and Point and Click preferred, but not essential).
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365.
* Vaccinated against measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, pertussis and hepatitis B.
* Australian working rights; sponsorship not available.
* Blue Card required or willingness to obtain one (costs covered by Griffith University).
Benefits
Full‐time base salary: HEW Level 4, $73,623–$77,680 plus 17% superannuation. The total 0.6 FTE package ranges from $86,139 to $90,886 per annum.
Location: Brisbane South (Nathan) campus; inter‐campus travel may be required.
