We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Designer to join our Brisbane design team.
Job Description:
* Provide detailed mechanical designs for multi-disciplinary projects working across sectors, focusing on water management infrastructure such as pump stations and pipelines for supply and sewerage systems.
* Lead civil and mechanical pipeline design including above ground steel works (brownfield and greenfield), pump station design, mechanical plant design, and non-process infrastructure for raw water or process water supply.
* Evaluate complex project requirements to ensure compliance with statutory regulations, company policies, and best practices in engineering standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
1. Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field with 10+ years of experience in a similar role.
2. Proficiency in 3D mechanical software applications like AutoCAD Inventor & Navisworks for designing drawings throughout the project lifecycle from prefeasibility to construction phases.
