What's the role?
As our Operations Manager and based at our Brisbane Airport location, you will be responsible for overseeing dispatch operations, ensuring KPI targets are met, and maintaining seamless communication between dispatchers, drivers, and other departments and customers. Your leadership and problem-solving skills will be crucial in managing workflow, resolving issues, and optimising efficiency.

Reporting to the General Manager, this is a wonderful leadership opportunity and will offer the prospect to develop, grow and provide extraordinary service to our users within a passive learning environment.
What you need is:
* Experience in the transport industry, particularly with courier and taxi truck services.
* A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar operational position.
* Ability to support team in compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
* Ability to promote a positive workplace culture and maintain professionalism at all times.
* Strong organisational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
* Maintain a strong understanding of core business systems and software.
* Investigate and resolve operational issues efficiently.
* Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations professionally.
* High attention to detail and a proactive, hands-on approach.
* Knowledge of workplace health & safety regulations and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements.
