Looking to join one of Australia’s most integral federal government departments ? This department helps to make life of all Australians better and is looking for a Cybersecurity Analyst.
Working in either the Canberra or Geelong office, your choice, you will help to develop and deliverer the capabilities across the cyber security team.
Aside from the above you will be responsible for
4. Threat analysis and mitigation
5. Process engineering and uplift
6. Partnering with ICT on security issues
7. Vulnerability management
8. Proactive identification of emerging threats
Please note, this role is with a federal government department so you must be able to get an NV1 security clearance .
This means you must have Australian Citizenship with the ability to get this clearance.
Other than the ability to get an NV1 clearance we are keen to speak with candidates that have:
9. Cybersecurity experience in large enterprise or government environments
10. Cyber security threat identification and remediation
11. SIEM Engineering experience
12. Cloud security with SIEM, SOAR, Endpoint, AWS or Azure
13. Understanding of Australian government governance / standards
On offer to the successful candidate will be a contract role with an initial duration of 12 months with daily rates based on your skills and experience. Extensions are expected for this
You will be based in the Canberra or Geelong office with a 2 / 3 day work from home split.
