YOUR ROLE
We're looking for a skilled and qualified Mechanic to carry out repairs and maintenance on Council vehicles, plant, and equipment. The role includes both scheduled and unscheduled servicing, light fabrication, welding, and auto electrical work.
You'll also contribute to a safe work environment by identifying hazards, following workshop procedures, and completing risk assessments as needed.
YOUR WORKING ENVIRONMENT (for eligible employees)
* A commencing weekly rate of $1,350 with progression up to $1,519 dependent upon skills and experience, plus 12% superannuation
* Work a 9-day fortnight, based on a 38-hour working week
