Cleanaway is the largest waste management company in Australia. Within our Industrial & Waste Services division (IWS) we provide total waste management business solutions to our customers in the Mining, Oil & Gas and Infrastructure sectors. These solutions include, industrial cleaning services such as non-destructive digging, concrete demolition, high-pressure water blasting, vacuum loading, shutdown services, pipe, drain and tank cleaning, emergency spills response and CCTV.
We have an exciting opportunity in this newly created role for a Sales Manager to join our expanding team based in Rockingham.
Your new role
Reporting to the Regional Manager you will drive customer management, find new business in your defined region and be responsible for the following activities:
1. Demonstrated experience in sales, account management and stakeholder engagement
2. Identify and develop new business whilst providing leadership and support to the team
3. Develop pricing proposals, submit quotes and follow up on leads to close sales
4. Provide excellent customer service, build and maintain strong relationships across the industry
5. Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies
6. Ensure that CRM and regular sales reporting is completed accurately, efficiently and within expected timeframes
7. Achieve acquisition and retention targets through persuasive and effective negotiations
8. Develop and implement strategies and actions to maximise revenue, profitability and growth
9. Collaborate with internal teams to maximise cross selling opportunities and to ensure that a single cohesive face and company value proposition is presented to the customer
10. Flexibility to travel throughout the Pilbara region regularly
About You
To be considered for this role you will have:
11. Have extensive sales experience and a demonstrable track record preferably in industrial, mining or construction.
12. Experience in a customer management role and driving new business
13. Work well under pressure, find opportunity and drive business
14. Demonstrated cold calling and business development skills
15. Ability to think outside the box and problem solve
16. Tenacious and resilient attitude
17. Exposure to top tier contractors - vacuum excavation, high pressure water blasting and other Infrastructure projects highly desirable
18. CRM software experience
19. Intermediate IT skills (Microsoft Office suite, database and CRM tools) · Current driver’s licence
20. Ability to travel when required
