TeleChoice is an Australian telecommunication company based in Melbourne. We are looking for an Assistant Accountant with the opportunity for an immediate start date. This role is to support our accounting function with responsibilities for accounts receivable, credit control and debt reconciliation, and other accounts reconciliations tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Efficient and accurate processing of payments and accounts receivable
Producing daily payments reconciliation reports, follow by investigating and resolving payment discrepancies
Managing the debt collection process and reporting
Responding to queries in a timely manner
Assisting with completion of various month end activities
Providing information, reconciliation and reporting to internal and external parties as required
Month End Process
Prepare and post GL journals
Ad hoc projects as required by the finance team
The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate the following:
Minimum 2 years experiences in a similar role
Outstanding attention to detail
Excellent time management & able to handle multiple responsibilities and will complete all tasks with accuracy
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, problem solving and analytic skills
Ability to work both as part of a great team and independently, exercising judgement with minimal supervision.
Strong ability in using Excel and Accounting Software, MYOB
Qualification in Accounting or Bookkeeping (minimum Cert IV)
Previous Telco industry experience (Desirable)
