Your new role
Our client is seeking a SharePoint Developer to join the ICT team for a 6-month contract. You will play a key role in the migration and redevelopment of SharePoint environments, ensuring a smooth transition from legacy systems to modern cloud-based platforms.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Designing and developing solutions in SharePoint Online to support business needs.
* Migrating content and functionality from SharePoint 2010 to SharePoint Online.
* Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver user-friendly solutions.
* Ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance throughout the migration process.
* Providing technical support and documentation as needed.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
* Proven experience in SharePoint development, particularly with SharePoint Online and legacy platforms like SharePoint 2010.
* Strong understanding of SharePoint architecture, workflows, and permissions.
* Experience with PowerShell scripting, SharePoint Designer, and migration tools.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or within a team.
* Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
