**About the role**
We are currently seeking a highly motivated Diploma qualified Early Childhood Educator to provide outstanding Occasional Care services at one of Australia's premier Sports and Aquatic Centres.
The Occasional Care service at Glen Eira Sports and Aquatic Centre (GESAC) provides high-quality short-term care for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years whilst parents use the facilities. Sessions run Monday to Friday between 9am and 12noon.
- As an Occasional Care Attendant, you will: _
- Deliver safe, stimulating and educationally appropriate programs for children
- Assist with the development and preparation of resources and learning plans.
- Prepare the room based on the planed program for the day.
- Pack up and clean the room at the end of each session.
- Ensure all relevant records such as sign-in book and accidents/injuries are accurately maintained.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Diploma in education and care
- Sound knowledge of the EYLF, NQS and National Regulations/Law
- First aid certificate (HLTAID004 or HLTAID012)
- Current Employee Working with Children's Check
**Other information**
The position is on a casual basis covering annual leave, sick leave and general staffing requirements to meet ratios during peak periods.
Applicants must be willing to undergo a police records check and pre-employment medical for the purpose of employment.
