About the Role
As a Relationship Manager, you'll work with a dedicated Assistant Manager to manage a portfolio of Agribusiness customers, driving growth through acquisition, increasing share of wallet and referrals.
You'll solve complex challenges, deepening your expertise across banking products like working capital financing, trade finance, cash management and trade facilities.
Agribusiness is a key area of focus for our commercial strategy, backed by a supportive leadership team and investment in new systems and technologies.
This role offers a great opportunity to take the next step in your commercial banking career, setting yourself up for success within our commercial division or other areas of ANZ.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a portfolio of Agribusiness customers with a customer-centric approach
* Collaborate with Product Partners and the credit team to structure deals
* Build valued relationships with operations teams to improve efficiency and minimise losses
* Apply strong credit and industry analysis skills to credit proposal recommendations
* Ensure compliance and assess new and existing transactions
* Meet Group Audit requirements and QA standards
* Work closely with lending services to manage provisions
* Maintain expertise in Commercial mid-market & specialist segment domains
* Stay up-to-date on agribusiness trends, economic conditions and market forces
What We're Looking For
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
* Ability to build long-term client relationships with excellent customer satisfaction outcomes
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage C-suite executives, business owners and financial decision-makers
* Strong understanding of Commercial mid-market banking products and ability to analyse financial statements
* Ability to identify financial opportunities and recommend appropriate banking products and services
* Ability to negotiate and structure complex deals
* Proficiency in evaluating credit risk and managing the lending process
* Knowledge of regulatory requirements and risk management principles
* Experience leading teams and problem-solving
