Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Bunbury, WA, for an Event Assistant. The Event Assistant will support the planning, organization, and execution of events for the South West Japan Festival. Daily tasks include liaising with vendors, assisting in event set-up and logistics, and ensuring smooth event operations. The role also involves managing communications with participants, addressing inquiries, and maintaining a high standard of customer service throughout all engagements.
Qualifications
Strong customer service and communication skills to manage inquiries and interactions effectively.Experience in event planning and event management, including coordinating logistics and working with vendors.Excellent organizational skills to handle schedules, deadlines, and multiple tasks simultaneously.Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Passion for cultural events or prior familiarity with Japanese culture is a plus.Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules.
