Medical Receptionist Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Full-Time Medical Receptionist to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have 2 years' experience in a General Practice setting, previous leadership experience in customer service, and proficient computer skills with knowledge of Pracsoft/MedTech Medical Director.
Key responsibilities include delivering exceptional customer service, performing administrative duties, opening and closing the medical centre, fostering professional working relationships, and maintaining compliance with organisational policies and procedures.
Our ideal candidate will also possess strong knowledge of Medicare billing, batching, and workers' compensation processes.
Responsibilities
* Customer service including welcoming patients, collecting and entering patient details, answering telephone calls and enquiries, scheduling appointments when required, and reception duties
* Administrative duties and supporting the practice manager with day-to-day operations
* Opening and closing the medical centre
* Fostering professional working relationships with team members, patients, and medical staff
* Maintaining compliance with organisational policies and procedures
* Assisting with training and mentoring junior reception staff
