Job Description
Epworth Healthcare is seeking two Grade 1 Occupational Therapists to join our multidisciplinary team at Epworth Rehabilitation. In the full time rotational roles, you will be availed with a wide range of clinical experiences, working with patients presenting with a variety of neurological, orthopaedic, cardiac, respiratory, medical, trauma and brain injury conditions, across three sites (Camberwell, Hawthorn & Richmond) in both acute and sub acute settings.
As the successful candidate, your diligence and high level organisational skills will be imperative to working in a fast paced hospital environment, knowing that at the end of the day, you can leave your work at work achieving that all important work life balance. Every Occupational Therapist is well supported via a dedicated supervisor and has access to excellent professional development opportunities.
You will make an impact by-
* Working closely alongside the multidisciplinary team
* Providing clinical care based on best available evidence
* Having well-developed organisational and planning skills
* Being compassionate, approachable and resilient
* Showing that by nature, you are an active learner and true team player
To be successful in this role you will have-
* Relevant hospital experience as an Occupational Therapist is highly desirable but not essential (new graduates welcome to apply)
* A Victorian Driver’s license (and willingness to drive with patients in the car in metropolitan Melbourne)
* Excellent computer literacy including MS Office Word and Excel
