Enterprise Architect
Location: Canberra (onsite)
Duration: 12 months + possible 12-month extension
Salary: $200 – $240 per hour
Security Clearance: NV1 required (or ability to obtain)
About the Role
Our federal government client is seeking an Enterprise Architect to lead strategic technology direction within a large public sector environment. This role is responsible for shaping and guiding enterprise-wide architecture to support digital transformation initiatives. Working with senior stakeholders, you will align business objectives with technology strategy to deliver scalable, sustainable, and high-value solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain enterprise architecture frameworks across business, data, applications, infrastructure, security, and integration
* Establish architecture principles, standards, and technology roadmaps
* Promote reuse of platforms, systems, and shared capabilities
* Provide expert advice to architecture governance forums and stakeholders
* Analyse business needs, technology trends, and market developments
* Produce architectural artefacts to support investment and decision-making
* Engage with senior stakeholders to align technology strategy with organisational priorities
