Role Summary
As a Catering Assistant, you will support dining services and create enjoyable experiences for residents and customers.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparing and presenting meals and refreshments
* Assisting with food service in dining areas
* Dishwashing and kitchen cleaning duties
* Maintaining food safety and hygiene standards
* Supporting kitchen operations during busy service periods
* Providing friendly and professional customer service
* Working collaboratively with cooks and fellow catering team members
Availability Requirements
This role is casual and requires flexibility across weekday, weekend, and public holiday shifts.
It is highly desirable to cover both:
* Morning shifts (7 am – 2 pm)
* Afternoon shifts (2 pm – 7:30 pm)
Qualifications and Experience

* Are physically capable of performing catering and cleaning duties

Desirable Experience
* Experience in aged care, healthcare, or retirement living aligned with the Aged Care Strengthened Standards
* Previous catering, hospitality, cafe, or food service experience
* Food Handling Certificate
* Barista skills or catering qualifications
Role Requirements
* Satisfactory police check (or willingness to obtain through BallyCara)
* Right to work in Australia
* COVID and influenza vaccinations highly recommended
