- **The Roles**_
Hooker & Heijden are seeking talented brokers from all levels of experience including Assistant / Account Executives, Account Managers and Account Directors to manage a variety of portfolios including Domestic, SE, Commercial, Mid-market and Corporate segments.
We also have development and AR roles if your are seeking a more dynamic, challenging and incentivised opportunity.
A small selection of our vacancies currently include:
- Multiple Assistant Account Executive's - Commercial to $60K - $80K pkg
- Account Executive - Commercial to $100K pkg
- Account Manager - Personal Lines $90K pkg
- Account Manager - High Volume Commercial to $145K pkg
- Account Manager - Commercial to $130k pkg
- Tier 1 broking essential for most roles however open to Tier 2 as a minimum
- Experience 1 - 10+ years of insurance related experience. (Claims, Underwriting, Broking)
- Exposure to classes such as Personal Lines, Property, Business Packs, Liability and Financial Lines
- Prior experience undertaking all aspects of insurance broking (or broking administration) including responding to client requests, all processing and documentation associated with the portfolio and claims management
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
- Competent in IT and office procedures
- Experience in some of Winbeat, Officetech, ibais CBS and Sunrise experience
Potential duties in these roles will include:
- Providing support to senior staff
- Management of portfolio
- New Business
- Team Mentoring
- Processing quotations, endorsements, renewals and cancellations
- Proactively act upon current business leads provided by the brokerage
- Identify opportunities for cross-sell and/or up-sell of product to clients
- Achieve individual and team KPI's
- Working collaboratively with team members.

Hooker & Heijden and our Clients interview process includes telephone, video and in person interviews. Testing may also be part of the interview process

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $80,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Melbourne, VIC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
