Job Overview
The Process Improvement and Change Practitioner will provide critical support to the Global Trade Control team by navigating process, workflow, tool, and behavioural changes in alignment with trade control requirements. This Brisbane-based role comes with a hybrid work model.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Navigate Regulatory and Organisational Environment
* Develop an understanding of and implement changes to existing trade control processes, tools, and workflows used for organisational compliance.
* Work with the GTC Manager and Trade Control Specialists to understand emerging requirements, as per legislative updates.
* Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to identify where GTC requirements and processes must be included or updated.
2. Change Management Planning
* Conduct impact analysis and stakeholder assessments.
* Develop and implement change management plans that embed change and mitigate risk.
* Determine training needs and develop or facilitate training materials.
* Promote communication related to change initiatives.
* Maintain enduring GTC communications material.
* Develop and participate in GTC change management processes.
3. Process Management and Improvement
* Co-design processes, tools, workflows, guidance, and command media to support the implementation of legislative and enterprise changes.
* Lead process and workflow improvements across the GTC team to enhance efficiency.
* Integrate GTC processes with other departmental change management processes.
* Support the development and implementation of process management strategies.
4. Continuous Improvement
* Engage in continuous improvement aligned with best practices and lessons learnt.
* Support the implementation of feedback mechanisms to enhance GTC processes.
