Position Summary
Experienced Podiatrists required for a locum role in a regional health service approximately four hours from Adelaide. The role begins ASAP and lasts at least three months.
* January/February start for a minimum of three months.
* Outpatients, high risk feet, and complex wound care.
* Competitive locum rates, free accommodation, and travel reimbursement up to $500 (receipts required).
We have several vacancies across two locations. Open to AHP levels 1, 2, or 3.
Your Caseload Will Cover
* Rural generalist caseload, mainly outpatients with some inpatients, aged care, and paediatrics. Opportunities for outreach to rural/remote communities.
* Regional/rural experience preferred – including work with Aboriginal consumers and high risk wound care.
* Multidisciplinary team including OT, PT, SP, SW, O&P, DT, Diabetes Educators, Orthotics & Prosthetics, and Wound Nurse. The department will soon comprise 3 contractor/FIFO staff.
* Work in the local community with a company-provided car.
* Monday‐Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
* Free accommodation.
* Travel reimbursement up to $500 (receipts required).
* Competitive locum rates based on experience.
Located on Eyre Peninsula's Spencer Gulf in South Australia, the region offers a warm climate, ocean shores, saltwater fishing, and a mix of industrial and nature-based experiences.
