Our client has been in business for 45 years and are looking for 2 Welders/Fabricators to join their team. The position is a full-time permanent role with all equipment to be supplied by the company. They pride themselves on providing quality work to their customers and are looking to grow their team.
Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
* Perform TIG and MIG welding on light-gauge tube and sheet metal assemblies
* Weld and fabricate pipework and components in accordance with drawings and specifications
* Meet production deadlines while maintaining required quality standards
* Conduct self-inspections to ensure accuracy and compliance of finished products
* Complete job reports and timesheets accurately and on time
* Support senior fabricators with complex assemblies as needed
* Carry out general cutting and forming tasks as directed
Required Experience:
* Proven TIG welding ability on light-gauge materials (practical assessment required)
* Competent in MIG welding techniques
* Minimum second-year apprenticeship completed or equivalent training
* Able to read and accurately interpret technical drawings and specifications
* Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
* Confident communicator, able to work effectively with customers and team members
* Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills
Desirable:
* Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication trade
* Experience with mild steel, ACMS steel or stainless steel
