Delivering 4 Customers (D4C) is a consortium comprising of industry leading Tier 1 organisations – John Holland, Service Stream and WSP. Sydney Water has partnered with D4C to deliver design, construction, maintenance and facilities management services across their southern region - from Bondi to Gerringong, and out to Georges River.
D4C is seeking a Project Managerto join our dynamic, diverse and high performing team in an exciting time of growth.We need your skills and expertise to help Sydney Water deliver a $34 billion dollar program over the next 10 years to build, maintain and protect the future of our iconic water resources.
Primary Purpose
The purpose of the Project Engineer role is to ensure the successful delivery of construction projects by managing schedules, resources, and costs, while maintaining compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
Key Accountabilities
* Supporting Construction Leads to ensure allocated projects are delivered to scope within time, cost, quality and regulatory standards.
* Setting daily, weekly and long term project programs to achieve required project outputs with plant, labour, materials and resources.
* Monitor and review costs, invoices and claims for allocated projects
* Contributing to the constructability of a project with respect to design development
* Undertaking tender, evaluation, and award of subcontract procurement packages
* Monitor the quality and quantities of incoming equipment and material against drawings and specifications and arrange corrections or modifications where necessary as per Inspection and Test Plans.
* Analyse and use document and record management, progress and project performance reporting compliance reporting
* Demonstrate sound people management skills by managing work and performance of self perform workforce and subcontractors to achieve outcomes
* Liaise and coordinate with all external parties and relevant statutory authorities and manage their attendance on site as necessary.
* Contribute to and foster a good safety, quality, environment and a community culture with a view to deliver differently.
Essential Requirements:
* Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Science, Building Construction, Construction Management or equivalent
* 6+ year's engineering experience
* Pre-contracts knowledge in relation to design, planning and legislative requirements is desirable
* Demonstrated knowledge in health, safety, quality and environmental management
* Client relationship and stakeholder management experience is desirable
* Highly competent with MS office
* Drivers licence
* White card
