Ausfield Services is a privately owned Queensland organisation specialising in the provision of ground maintenance, vegetation control and asset management services for private, public and government owned industrial sites and infrastructure. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support our Finance Manager with the day-to-day processing of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions. This is a full-time position, with flexibility available for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
* All aspects of accounts payable through Lightyear invoice processing software including monthly reconciliations and weekly and end of month preparation of bills for payment.
* Coding of General Leder, creditor invoicing and bank account transactions transaction in XeroProcess credit card expense transactions.
* Receipt and allocate daily client payments, follow up on outstanding debtor balances and assist with debtor invoicing.
* Provide payroll support, including collating and checking weekly timesheets and payroll processing.
* Prepare weekly reports.
* Applications for Employment Subsidies.
* Perform ad hoc duties as required by Finance Manager.
About You
* Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
* Experience with Xero or other accounting software (desirable).
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Effective time management and organisational skills.
* A positive attitude and ability to thrive in a structured, process-driven friendly environment.
