Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook high-quality dishes, ensuring consistency and adherence to recipes. Develop and innovate new menu items while maintaining the restaurant's culinary standards. Manage kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating. Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards. Train and supervise junior kitchen staff. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies. Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment. Collaborate with the team to deliver exceptional service and guest satisfaction.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Cook/Chef (minimum 2-3 years preferred). Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively. Passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Relevant qualifications in Commercial Cookery or equivalent (preferred but not essential). Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
