The role
If you have a passion for customer service in the Concrete industry and a talent for problem solving and prioritising workload, then this is the opportunity for you We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Senior Batcher/Batch Plant Operator to join our busy concrete plant at Burleigh.
In this diverse position you will play a critical role in our business by ensuring customer expectations are met at all stages of our ordering & delivery processes. You will provide excellent customer service whilst taking orders, batch concrete to customer specifications and schedule and allocate deliveries to maximise the efficiency and utilisation of our concrete agitator trucks.
You will also operate mobile and fixed plant equipment, including front end loaders and forklifts.

This position is available on a permanent full-time basis, working Monday to Friday with Saturday working as and when required.
Responsibilities
1. Represent the Hy-Tec brand and provide excellent phone-based customer service.
2. Take orders and finalise the sale of pre-mixed concrete for delivery.
3. Batch concrete to specific mix designs via a computerized system.
4. Use software packages to schedule rostering and truck movements for the region.
5. Ensure Chain of Responsibility requirements are adhered to at all times.
6. Order raw materials.
What you will need to succeed
1. Previous experience in a similar role (highly regarded).
2. Previous experience in Command/Jonel batching systems (desired but not essential).
3. Experienced Plant Operator (FEL preferred).
4. Demonstrated ability to prioritise work effectively in an environment of constant change.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to build rapport with diverse customers.
6. Confident when working with computers.
