genU is looking for a **Domestic Services Assistant **to join the team at Costa House! The role will operate within the Food & Domestic Services Department within Costa House - a 120-bed residential aged care facility located in Lara. We form part of the Residential Aged Care Division and seek to improve the quality of life for Aging Victorians and their families and carers.
**Domestic Services Assistants** are responsible for performing resident/client focused general cleaning and laundry duties across different areas in our residence. This includes vacuuming, dusting, general cleaning of rooms, ensuites & surrounding living areas.
**This is a part-time, ongoing role!**
**About You**:
- Our ideal _**_Domestic Services Assistant _**_will have:_
- Experience in domestic services
- Strong written and oral communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
- Effective time management, organisational skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in a hospital or residential aged care setting
- You will need:_
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain
- Current NDIS Worker Orientation Module certificate or willingness to obtain
- All applicants will be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and meet the requirements of the genU Covid-19 Vaccination Policy. You will be required to provide evidence of your vaccinations during the recruitment process.
