About the Role
We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the development and implementation of strategies to manage school intake (catchment) area boundaries, monitoring student demand across NSW.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in urban planning, infrastructure planning, or related sectors, with demonstrated experience in leading teams and developing solutions to complex problems.
This is an exciting opportunity to work at the NSW Department of Education, where you will be responsible for:
* Leading team management, coaching, and professional development initiatives to build team capabilities and expertise
* Developing and building collaborative relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to influence departmental school planning initiatives that optimise the utilisation of government assets
Key Requirements:
* Tertiary qualifications in urban planning, infrastructure planning, development, or related sectors
* Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education
