Position Overview
We are seeking a driven and proactive Business Development Manager whose primary focus will be to identify new business opportunities, generate leads, secure new contracts, and actively grow our client portfolio.
This role is ideal for a motivated sales professional who thrives on building relationships, opening doors, and representing a growing company within the hospitality and commercial sectors.
The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding PM Services Group’s presence across the Gold Coast and Brisbane markets, with the long-term vision of supporting the company’s future national growth across Australia.
You will act as a representative and ambassador of the company, developing relationships with key decision makers within hotels, property managers, Airbnb operators, and commercial clients, while working closely with our leadership and operations teams to ensure every new contract is successfully implemented and delivered to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities across hotel housekeeping, Airbnb cleaning, and commercial cleaning services.
* Proactively generate leads through networking, industry relationships, direct outreach, and market research.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with hotel management teams, property managers, developers, and commercial clients.
* Prepare and present service proposals, quotations, and tenders to prospective clients.
* Negotiate contracts and support the onboarding process for new clients.
* Represent PM Services Group at industry events, networking opportunities, and business development meetings.
* Maintain and expand an existing client portfolio by identifying opportunities for additional services and contract growth.
* Work closely with operations teams to ensure a smooth transition from sales to service delivery.
* Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and client interactions within the company CRM system.
* Monitor industry trends and identify new market opportunities within hospitality and commercial sectors.
* Support the company’s strategic expansion across Gold Coast, Brisbane, and future national markets.
Qualifications & Experience
* Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management.
* Previous experience within commercial cleaning, hospitality services, property management, or related industries is highly desirable.
* Demonstrated success in generating new business and securing service contracts.
* Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
* Ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships with key stakeholders.
* Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* Experience preparing proposals or tenders is advantageous.
* Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel when required.
